Beautiful islands near Phuket

The island of Phuket in Thailand's Andaman Sea is a popular destination for tourists from all over the world.
Phuket offers a beautiful nature, white beaches with crystal clear sea, tropical forests and also culture with 29 Buddhist temples (e.g. Wat Chalong or Big Buddha). Surrounding Phuket are paradise islands that are easily accessible.
Today we present to you some of them, for example Bamboo Island or the more famous Phi Phi Island that can truly be considered a small paradise. It would be a shame not to visit them!

Koh Phi Phi (Phi Phi Island)

Phi Phi island is one of the most popular destinations in all of southern Thailand. They are two spectacular islands in an archipelago consisting of a total of 6 islets and small islands, of which only Koh Phi Phi Don and Koh Phi Phi Leh are found to be inhabited. These islands have become extremely famous since 1999, when they lent their beauty to the movie "The Beach" with Leonardo Di Caprio.

Bamboo Island is located north of the islands Phi Phi and can be reached, by renting a long tail boat, in 45 minutes by boat. The island is small and has a beautiful white beach with sandy bottoms and crystal clear waters also ideal for doing snorkeling.

Khao Phing Kan or Ko Khao Phing Kan is an island in Thailand, in the bay of Phang Nga northeast of Phuket. About 40 meters from the shores of Khao Phing Kan is a 20-meter-high islet called Ko Ta Pu or Ko Tapu. The islands are limestone karst towers and are part of Ao Phang Nga national park .

Another island that can be considered a paradise. Small, without too many tourists but with very white beaches and crystal clear sea. It lies below the island of Phuket and can be reached by private boat.

Ko Yao Yai

Koh Yao Yai is a beautiful island still genuine, the locals are always relaxed and fun-loving, kind and smiling. Ko Yao Yai is the larger of the two large islands in the archipelago of Ko Yao. The island group is located in the bay of Phang Nga in the province of the same name in southern Thailand.
