HOTEL
The most romantic hotels in the world
Romance is inherent in travel: the feeling of endless opportunities because no one knows you, the mystery of a new place, the beauty that invests you everywhere you look.
But some places are more romantic than others, and only a few can claim the title of most romantic of all.
Our presentation offers a recommendation for every couple.
Here is the selection by Traveller Usa, a series of places to dream and love.
Deplar Farm, Iceland
The "Troll Peninsula" of northern Iceland ranks among the nation's most beautiful mountain ranges. Sheep outnumber people here, and this remoteness from everything is utterly romantic -- as if you've escaped with your lover to a mist-shrouded Eden where the problems of the world do not exist. Deplar Farm, a former farmhouse accommodates no more than 32 guests at a time, is perpetually quiet and contemplative, and the variety of activities in winter is especially interesting. Luxury Collection Resort, Mykonos, Greece
The travel journalist from Traveller, Shannon McMahon traveled to Luxury Collection Resort for her honeymoon, a choice she does not regret in the least. In fact, she considers it a hotel "to plan the whole trip."
Villa Igiea - Palermo, Italy
Life at this masterclass of sophisticated elegance revolves around the cocktail hour, which takes place on a breezy outdoor terrace and is accompanied by a jazz pianist. Villa Igiea takes you back to a time when a couple would dress up just to see each other, and the air is charged with romance.
Four Seasons Resort, Bora Bora, Polynesia
Here is a riddle : what is better than doing nothing? Do nothing at Bora Bora. Whether you're on your honeymoon or a parent in need of a break, in this French Polynesian paradise you'll feel far removed from the minutiae of everyday life. And with little else but miles of crystal clear waters in sight, you and your partner will have almost nothing to distract you from each other.
Grand Hotel Tremezzo, Lake Como, Italy
Owned by the De Santis family since it opened in 1910, the Grand Hotel Tremezzo is as grand as they come. Located right on the banks of the lago di Como, it is a place that has long set the standard for European luxury hotels: it is hard to find the hotel reviewed or mentioned without a mention of the constantly upgrading, always-on staff and facilities that close each winter for renovations.
andBeyond Benguerra Island, Mozambico
Reaching Benguerra Island off the coast of Mozambico, in the spectacular sun-mottled archipelago of Bazaruto, takes time: the most efficient route is to fly from Johannesburg to Vilankulos, then skip an eight-minute helicopter ride to the island of Benguerra. But a must-see experience like this is worth the extra effort. Once there, an understated paradise awaits you with much to explore and with some 140 species of birds, from kingfishers to flamingos, and only 10 casinhas, two cabanas and a three-bedroom house.
COMO Shambhala Estate, Bali, Indonesia
Eyebrow-raising views greet you when you arrive at COMO Shambhala Estate on the island of Bali, a designer health retreat embraced by jungle in the staggered hills above the river Ayung.
Club Marbella, Spain
A veritable village on the Andalusian coast (Andalusian alone is a rather romantic proper name, conjuring up images of caressed cheeks, horses running free, and all-around beauty), Marbella Club seems like a place where one can settle in at complete ease.
Tierra Patagonia Hotel & Spa, Torres del Paine, Chile
There is something incredibly romantic about feeling like you are walking on the edge of the world with the person you love. It happens at Tierra Patagonia Hotel & Spa, 40 rooms on the edge of Torres del Paine National Park in Chilean Patagonia: you and your partner will feel like you're really out there at the end of the world.

Manhattanhenge, also known as the Manhattan solstice, is a phenomenon in which the setting of the sun is perfectly aligned with the streets running east-west through the borough of Manhattan, the 'island' of New York.
This phenomenon, which literally paralyses the streets of the Big Apple for a few minutes, occurs twice a year, at exactly the same distance from the summer solstice. The first occurs, in terms of time, around 28 May, while the second generally occurs around 12 July.
This phenomenon is named after the famous scientific divuigator Neil deGrasse Tyson, an astrophysicist at the American Museum of Natural History.
