We bring you our selection of cities to visit in Europe with some tips on what to visit and how to spend your time. Our favorite is Amsterdam with its blooming tulips but the choice is yours. Paris (France)
Spring in Paris is wonderful. We recommend a walk from the city streets filled with street performers, musicians and jugglers. In addition to the well-known attractions we recommend you visit: Jardin du Luxembourg, Parc Monceau and indulge in a romantic cruise on the Seine.
London (England)
The warmer temperatures invite a stroll through Royal Parks. If you love shopping, visit the markets in Camden Town or Oxford Street. Don't miss the traditional Easter Egg Hunt: great fun especially for the little ones.
Prague (Czech Rep.)
Prague. One of the most beautiful cities in Europe offers a most welcoming climate during Easter. We recommend a beautiful walk in the old town where you will find typical Easter markets (Staroměstské náměstí), then crossing the Charles Bridge and going up the 'other side of the river to Prague Castle, also visiting with its botanical gardens.
Seville (Spain)
In Seville, you can participate in atmospheric religious services. The Spanish Semana Santa is the most important Easter event in the world (from Palm Sunday to Easter). Temperatures in Seville are already pre-holiday. We recommend a visit to the Alcázar and the gypsy quarter, where you can watch an authentic flamenco show.
Berlin (Germany)
During the Easter celebrations in Berlin there is an exceptionally cultural air. Many events, festivals and markets characterize the Easter season in Berlin. The most famous market is Alexanderplatz, one of the city's most charming squares. Berlin there are also many activities initiatives for young people and young adults, for example, sunset barbecues in outdoor spaces.
Lisbon (Portugal)
One of the ideal destinations for spring, the climate is mild and breezy. We recommend visiting the culinary festival "Lisboa Fish and Flavoursˮ. A show-cooking and tastings festival, both local and international.
Marseille (France)
Easter is a perfect time to visit Marseille; its mild climate invites strolls to Calanchi, the white cliffs on the edge of the city.
It may be a little early for the lavender to bloom, but the first purple colors can already be seen.
Amsterdam (Netherlands)
In addition to walks in the city of Amsterdam we recommend you to visit the Keukenhof gardens. This kingdom of Dutch tulips is located in the nearby town of Lisse, just 30 km from Amsterdam.
Athens (Greece)
The city of Athens offers perfect weather during the Easter season to engage in sightseeing. We recommend a scenic tour of Athens with a visit to the Acropolis, the Parthenon, the temple of Athena Nike and the theater of Dionysus. Also, enjoy the local gastronomy!
Malaga (Spain)
Temperatures in Malaga are usually above 20 degrees, but Malaga is a city that really offers its best during this period. Also here Semana Santa is a very heartfelt occasion, and always during this period there are very interesting events and festivals! We invite you to organize one of the most beautiful excursions (with a bit of adrenaline): the Caminito del Rey! It is a trail on a footbridge at a height of 105 meters that offers incredible views!
It is recommended to do the hike with an experienced guide to avoid risks and enjoy the experience to the fullest!

In the desert of Karakum, in Turkmenistan, there is a huge gaseous crater known as the Gate of Hell, which is presumed to have been burning, without ever stopping, since 1971.
The crater was formed following the collapse of a natural gas cave and the name Gate of Hell was given to it by the local population, who live in the nearby village of Derweze. The name is associated with the fact that inside the crater, with a diameter of about 70 meters and a depth of 20, there is constantly fire, flames and boiling mud. At night, flames are visible even several kilometers away.
According to the local population, the Gate of Hell is a supernatural phenomenon. The explorer George Kourounis managed to take some soil samples inside the crater and from the analysis would have discovered the presence of bacteria that survived despite the high temperatures and present are inside the crater and not in the surrounding terrain.
