5 of the world's largest and most spectacular mazes

Today we bring you five of the world's largest and most spectacular labyrinths: A labyrinth is a structure, usually of vast size, built in such a way that it is difficult for those who enter it to find their way out. Formerly mostly unicursal, i.e., consisting of a single involute path leading inexorably to its center, the labyrinth has since become synonymous with a multiviary or multicursal layout. Alternatively, an inextricable pathway can be described as a labyrinth, a term clearly derived from the figure of the mythical Daedalus, the legendary builder of the labyrinth of Crete for King Minos, the best known of those in antiquity.
