The origin of the construction
The footbridge was originally built in the early 20th century to provide a route for workers to access a hydroelectric power plant, but was closed for many years due to safety concerns. In 2015, the footbridge was reopened after extensive renovations and is now one of the region's most popular tourist attractions.
