South Korea: the natural spectacle of cherry blossom in Seoul

Like every year, spring brings with it much new life, good cheer and the beauty of nature. In the Far East, spring means the blossoming of cherry trees, as is happening these days in South Korea's capital, Seoul.

The district of Yunjung-ro, specifically, is one of the most famous in the whole of Korea for admiring this natural wonder that attracts millions of people to the streets of the South Korean capital every year. In Asia, cherry blossoms have a long and thick symbolism, symbolising rebirth and change.

The images leave no room for doubt. This blossoming, which this year arrived two weeks early, is something with a sacred and wonderful aura.

It is not, however, an exclusively oriental spectacle. In Europe, too, one has the opportunity to witness this blossoming. There are plenty of cherry trees, especially in the UK, but also in Berlin, for example, in spring you can see them completely covered in pink petals.

Thanks to its mild and warm climate, Spain is also a perfect destination to see the cherry blossom without having to fly halfway around the world. In Madrid for example, many boulevards are now tinged with pink, as is the Jerte valley in the Spanish province of Cáceres
